Our most recent Pilates Social walk on Saturday 12th July took us along the seafront from The Waterfront restaurant in Hythe and across Hythe Ranges, enjoying a panoramic view of the sea on a beautiful summer’s day, a light cross-shore breeze helping to keep us cool.
The Military range walks are only open to the public for a few days each year, so it was wonderful to take the opportunity of enjoying this beautiful, pristine stretch of coastline.
Twelve of my wonderful ‘Pilates family’ joined me for the walk, which took us about 1.5 hours in total, and as far as the bomb-damaged Martello Tower.
On returning to the Waterfront, six of us took the opportunity for a lovely swim in the sea; the water being a good few degrees warmer than usual at this time of year.
For those of you new to my Pilates classes, or those of my regular clients yet to join us, I arrange these social walks every couple of months, and they are free of charge to join. We sometimes also enjoy a drink or a bite to eat afterwards.
