“I am a 55 year old male, and had let myself go slightly. It was when I started losing my flexibility that I thought I needed to do something local. Excessive gym circuits seemed too much, but Pilates – well – isn’t that a ‘lady’ thing? Contacting Jane she reassured that males do Pilates and it is very beneficial. Six sessions over six weeks and I am definitely seeing improvements in my flexibility, core strength, posture and balance. Jane is very patient, gently correcting you and though serious teaching still makes it fun! There is no mentality of ‘no pain no gain’ – instead it is about doing just enough to get the resistance. I would highly recommend the classes for both young and old. Maintaining flexibly, core strength and balance are critical as we get older but will also help with body toning.”

Jane is very friendly and the class was quite gentle you are encouraged to do the level that you are comfortable with, Jane makes sure you understand the moves and are doing them correctly.
