We’ve just had our second MacMillan Coffee Morning at Sellindge Sports and Social Club. Another huge success – we’re even hopeful of beating our total raised last year!
The Coffee Mornings are a national fundraising initiative by MacMillan Cancer Support, the amazing organisation so many turn to at the most challenging of times, and I am delighted to be supporting this fantastic cause for the second year running – along with your help, of course!
Raised for MacMillan by you amazing people!
Beating our £354.65 raised last year!
- 100% 100%
I am humbled by your generosity, both in making such a delicious array of cakes and biscuits to be enjoyed, as well as donating so much to MacMillan, and I would like to thank you so much for coming along and participating.
There was so much to go round, we even sent several people away with supplies to offer others for more donations, and I shall be bringing some to my Thursday classes as well! I am therefore hopeful that our grand total will rise even higher – watch this space! (I will be bringing the MacMillan box along to class with me for the next couple of weeks, in case any of you wish to donate.)
Finally, I would like to extend a huge thanks to Sellindge Sports as Social Club for hosting this event for us again, and especially to Kerry and Anne, who also worked tirelessly for us serving tea and coffee. We couldn’t have done it without you!
I hope you enjoy the photos below (although perhaps not as much as the cake!) kindly taken as always by my husband Mat.
I look forward to seeing you in class very soon. – JM x
