Jane Mackenzie’s first Advanced Pilates Masterclass in Hythe
I was so pleased with a full house today for the first of my Advanced Pilates Masterclasses series, focusing on challenging and strengthening the key core muscles using ‘Pilates flow’, ‘time under tension’, and ‘same side stabilisation’ techniques. We also carried out some partner band work, then finished off with multi-muscle group stretch variations. In the class, I used new ‘loop bands’ for several of the exercises, and will be bringing these into my regular classes in the New Year.
It was so enjoyable to teach this enthusiastic group of people, including many participants who attend my regular group classes. Everyone did really well, and the feedback after the class was extremely positive.
I am really looking forward to teaching this specific masterclass again on December 7th. We have just four spaces left on that class, so let me know soon if you want to come along. My Masterclasses are open to anyone who regularly practices Pilates, and wants to challenge themselves a bit further.
I am also very excited to announce ‘Rockin’ Rollers!’, a Masterclass using Foam Rollers and Trigger Point Balls, to be held on 29th February 2020. The focus for this masterclass will be balance and muscle release. Please let me know if you want to book for that class, as several of those who came along today have already booked places.
