Hello Everyone

I don’t know about you, but I am getting very excited about the coming of Spring, especially as it’s looking more and more like we are coming out of the pandemic now, so there’s so much more to look forward to. Once the weather improves, I plan to start outdoor classes on weekends again, plus of course taking some of our regular classes outside where possible. And as it becomes safer to do so, I also firmly intend to start running some fun social events again.

As you know, I’ve been working hard to bring you the very best face-to-face and online classes I can, and have also just completed two more qualifications to add to my list! But all this work and no play has left me quite tired, so I’m very much looking forward to taking a long week off in the sun at the end of February (see below), so I can return to you all refreshed and raring to go!

Holiday Dates

Please note that I shall be taking a holiday, and the following classes will not be running:

  • Thursday 24th February, 6.00 pm class only cancelled. (Let me know if you would like to swap to Wed 6.00 pm instead.)
  • Tuesday 1st March – all classes cancelled.
  • Wednesday 2nd March – all classes cancelled.
  • Thursday 3rd March – all classes cancelled.
  • Zoom classes will also be cancelled for the whole of this week.

Classes resume as normal from Tuesday 8th March, and anyone with bookings on the above dates will have their classes carried over to the end of their blocks.

Continue your Pilates Online while I’m away!

It’s very good for you to keep up your Pilates practice, so if anyone would like to continue Pilates with me online while I am away, I have over 80 full hour classes to choose from, which you can take as many times as you like, whenever you like. To make things simple, for those who would like to do this, I will simply use one of your pre-booked classes, in return for 10 days online access. Please let me know by Tuesday 22nd February.

Pilates ‘Homework’

Don’t forget that I am now producing a short ‘homework’ video each week, so you can practice one of the key exercises from your weekly class:  https://www.janem.co.uk/classes/weekly-homework-index/ . This is free to all, so please pass it on to any of your friends who might also like to take a look.

Pilates Social Walk

Our next Pilates Social Walk will be held on Saturday 19th March, starting 10.00 am. More details on this (including where we will be starting and our route) to come. In the meantime, if you think you might like to join us, please pop the date in your diary.

Whilst I try to run things as informally as I can, like any business I do need to have certain Terms and Conditions in order to run smoothly and viably. Most importantly, I would like to remind you that I need at least 1 weeks’ notice in order to cancel a pre-booked/paid class and transfer it over to another week. I do try and make things as flexible as I can for you though, and in cases where you don’t have time to provide this notice, I will if there is space offer you a place on a different class on the same week, or you can always do one of my Zoom classes on that week instead, e.g. if you are isolating or can’t otherwise come in.
