As those who practice Pilates with me will know, staying active isn’t just about feeling good right now, it’s about maintaining your strength, mobility and independence into the future. This is where the idea of healthspan comes in: not just how long we live, but how well we live. And this was the motivation behind my latest Pilates masterclass – ‘Stronger for Longer’.

  • The masterclass is designed to help you move with confidence as you get older, focusing on:
  • Building strength to support your body in everyday life
  • Improving balance and coordination to reduce the risk of falls
  • Enhancing stability and control in your movements
  • Challenging both your body and your brain in a safe, supportive way

We also look at simple, realistic lifestyle habits that can help reduce the risk of age-related changes like muscle loss, bone density loss and cognitive decline.

This masterclass was last held at Hythe Cricket Club last Saturday, and will be running again on 25th July.

As well my masterclasses, I run regular group Pilates classes in Hythe, Folkestone and Sellindge. I take clients 1-1 for rehabilitative Pilates Therapy sessions, and also run an extensive Online Pilates service for those with busy lifestyles.
