As you all know, I love to keep adding to my teaching skills, and learning more about various forms of exercise. So this weekend my sister Carol Boughton (also a Pilates instructor) and I attended a Trigger Point Pilates training event, run by Lydia Campbell.

Here, we looked at different ways to use Trigger Point balls, foam rollers and bands to release muscle fascia and strengthen the core muscles. We also took part in classes such as ‘Rollers and Balls’, ‘Chair Workout’,’Loop Bands’, ‘Fascia Circuits’ and ‘TTP Flow’.

Every Pilates event I have attended has been so interesting, and I came away feeling energised after all the work and the release of my muscles. And of course, I have some great new moves to bring back to my classes with you, so you can look forward to these during the coming weeks!

Incorporating Trigger Point work into my classes has proved very popular, with 98% of respondents in my recent participant survey indicating they wanted me to do so. And you all simply love those Trigger Point balls for your own personal use! So much so that I had completely run out of stock, and have just received a new order!
