Hello Everyone

Spring really is on the way now, with the daffodils in full bloom and some lovely weather at the moment. It won’t be long until we can start some outdoor Pilates again! Daffs also feature in our latest 24/7 Online Pilates class, which Mat and I have just recorded. It’s amazing that we started our online Pilates journey exactly two years ago now – and what a success it continues to be! Remember that you can always swap to a Zoom class if you can’t make it in to class for whatever reason.

Pilates Social Walk

Our next Pilates Walk will be this Sat 26th March at 10.00 am. We will start off in Sandgate and walk around the Enbrook Valley and along the woods behind Sandgate and then down back into Sandgate for coffee if you want to stay. The weather is looking lovely, so I do hope you will join us. Please let me know.

Classes Week of 29th March

We will be using hand weights in class the week commencing 29th March, so if you have weights bring them, or bring tins of beans, or water bottles.

Pilates Homework

A reminder that I am now producing a short ‘homework’ video each week, so you can practice one of the key exercises from your weekly class if you wish:  https://www.janem.co.uk/classes/weekly-homework-index/ . This is free to all, so please pass it on to any of your friends who might also like to take a look.

Please Keep Testing!

Finally, please can I remind everyone to keep testing prior to coming to classes. I am sure everyone is aware that there are still many cases of COVID around. It seems those getting it currently only have mild symptoms, but there are many of my participants who are waiting for a booster. It is clear that the boosters have made a difference to how we react to the virus. Thank you!
