Hello Everyone

I hope you are all enjoying this amazing sunshine right now and taking advantage of many the restrictions lifting. Please note that we can run seven of my classes outside during warm weather, so we can increase the numbers in these cases, as we have plenty of space outside. Please let me know if your desired class is full, and you want to be informed when we go outdoors.

Holiday Dates

To let you know that we shall be taking a holiday soon, so please note that the classes below will NOT be running:

  • Thursday 24th June 6.00 pm HCC cancelled (You may want to join another class that week, so l me know if you want to switch.)
  • All classes cancelled on Tuesday 29th June
  • All classes cancelled on Wednesday 30th June
  • All classes cancelled on Thursday 1st July


  • Tuesday 22nd June 6.45 pm (only) Three Hills is also cancelled, as the hall is not available to us for that slot. (I will be running a Zoom class instead that evening at 7pm for anyone who wants to join me online. It needs to be at 7pm to allow me time to get home from my previous class.)

We are back to normal from Tuesday 6th July. For those of you with pre-booked classes on these dates, I will automatically transfer your places to the next class after the end of your current block. If this corresponds to a date you can’t make, please let me know.

Keep your Pilates going!

There’s no reason to miss your weekly class while I am away either. For the cost of just a single group class I offer a full 10 days’ subscription to my online Classes, Jane Mackenzie 24/7, where you can choose from over 60 full hour recorded classes to take whenever and as many times as you like. I will even transfer one class from your current block to cover your 10 day membership if that’s easier for you. Please let me know if you would like to do this (by Tuesday 22nd latest please), and I’ll have your account set up for you to start just before we go away.

Saturday Outdoor PowerPilates, and Swimming afterwards!

Our outdoor PowerPilates classes have proved to be a great success, with a regular group of people enjoying some more vigorous exercise in the fresh air! I shall therefore be keeping these classes running on a regular basis. Classes run on Saturday mornings at 9.00 am, starting from Hythe promenade by the swimming pool. Remember this class has all abilities and I give alternatives for those who need them.)

Some of my participants also join me for a dip in the sea after class to really blow those cobwebs away. The physical and mental health benefits of cold water immersion are becoming well known. Please note that this is NOT an organised Jane’s H and F event, just an informal gathering of friends, and participation is entirely at your own risk. That said, you would be very welcome to join me if you fancy it.

I also go for a swim with a few people straight after our Tuesday 9.00 am class at the Burton Hall. Again this is just an informal thing, but you are very welcome to join me.
