Hello Everyone

Spring has turned into summer now and we can enjoy this glorious sunny weather more For those where we have outdoor spaces we will be going outside if the weather is suitable. We go outside at Hythe Cricket Club, the first class at the Three Hills, Sellindge Sports and Social Club and Shepway Close. All these venues have private areas which are not overlooked for us to enjoy, and some have shade, too.

What to Bring to Class w/c 30th May – Roller or Towel

We will be completing some exercises using the roller, not for release work this time, but to improve strength, stability and balance (no we are not going to stand on it) If you don’t have a long roller I have the correct ones for sale here: https://www.janem.co.uk/shop/equipment/pilates-foam-roller/ , or you can use a large rolled up towel. (If you are new to class you don’t have to use a roller, and can get used to completing the exercises on the floor.)

As you know we vary classes each week to challenge your body in different ways. I have planned what we will do the following week, but if you have a class that you particularly liked or you want to work more on, please let me know.

Outdoor Weekend Pilates – starts Saturday 3rd June 8.30 am!

I am very excited that our outdoor summer Pilates on the Leas starts next week 3rd June. It really is the best way to start your day and so good for your wellbeing. And the warmer weather is finally here! Click here for more information and to book! https://www.janem.co.uk/pilates/outdoor-pilates-classes-in-folkestone/

(Those who want to come for a swim with me afterwards are welcome to join me. The swimming is optional, is not an event organised by me, and is at own risk, but it’s better to go along with other experienced swimmers if you are new to sea swimming.)
