Hello Everyone

I hope you enjoyed the wonderful sunshine we have been having this last week. Now we are getting warmer days be ware we might be going outside for the Tuesday 5.30, Wednesday 6pm (if no cricket) and Thursday mornings. I won’t know definitely, as it may be too windy or too hot, so please if the weather is looking good bring along some suncream, a hat and a towel for your mat, and some water.

On the subject of water, let’s think about rehydrating sufficiently and drinking plenty of water in class. I am encouraging us all (including myself!) to drink a whole water bottle during the class. So I will be prompting drink stops in class over the summer months and beyond. Remember also to drink some before and after class. We will all benefit from being properly hydrated.

Holiday Dates for June

I shall be taking a week’s holiday from Friday 12th June until Sunday 21st June inclusive.  The following classes will therefore not be running, and anyone with bookings on these dates will have their classes carried over to the end of their blocks. Zoom classes and 1-1 sessions will also not be running during this period. Online Pilates 24/7 is of course always available while we are away, and if you would like to swap a week over to that, please let me know.

  • Tuesday 16th June – all classes cancelled.
  • Wednesday 17th June – all classes cancelled.
  • Thursday 18th June – all classes cancelled.
  • Classes resume as normal from Tuesday 23rd June

Charity Sponsored Pier-to-Pier open water swim 27th June

Many of you know I have been training hard in the sea in recent months for my next challenge. I know lots of you sponsored me for the Swimathon earlier in the year in the pool and I really appreciate your support. I shall next be taking on a 1.4 mile sea swimming challenge on June 27th at Bournemouth between the piers. This will be my longest swim in the sea to date in a sea temperature of around 16 degrees! Fundraising is for the British Heart Foundation this time. If any of you are able to sponsor, me even for a small amount, I would really appreciate it. Stronger for Longer Masterclass

Our latest ‘Stronger for Longer’ master class was a huge success.
