‘Last of the Summer Popups’, Saturday 31st August

Our popup outdoor Pilates classes have been hugely successful, culminating in the most fantastic weather last Saturday. Next Saturday 31st August will sadly be the last of the outdoor classes for this year, so I do hope you will all make every effort to come along and enjoy what promises to be yet another lovely sunny morning. https://www.janem.co.uk/pilates/outdoor-pilates-classes-in-folkestone/  Please let me know if you would like to come. And please pass the word around!

September Holiday Class Cancellations

To let you all know that I shall be taking a holiday the week commencing Monday 16th September, so no classes will be running that week. I apologise for any inconvenience, but it has proven to be extremely difficult to find suitable and available cover instructors. Please note that if you are a block it will carry over to when I am back.

  • Tues 17th Sept – all classes cancelled
  • Wed 18th Sept – all classes cancelled
  • Thurs 19th Sept – all classes cancelled
  • All classes back to normal the week commencing Monday 23rd September

MacMillan Charity Coffee Morning, Wednesday 25th September

Another reminder about this year’s MacMillan Coffee Morning on Wednesday 25th September at 11.30 am at Sellindge Sports Club. We raised an amazing £354.65 last year, but let’s see if we can beat that amount this year. https://www.janem.co.uk/2018/09/coffee-morning-photos-and-total-raised/ I do hope as many of you as possible will come along and support this fantastic cause. Please put the date in your diaries. Remember, you can either come along to the class beforehand (please book in advance) or just turn up at any time afterwards for the coffee morning itself, which runs until approximately 1.30 pm. There will be loads of scrummy food to share, guilt-free in the knowledge that we are raising money for MacMillan! Please can you also let me know if you are able to donate a cake, and what sort you would like to make – thank you.

In order to run the coffee morning at this time, it will unfortunately be necessary to cancel my 11.30 am class at the Shepway Centre, Folkestone on 25th September. I’m really sorry for any inconvenience caused, but hope you will agree that MacMillan Cancer Support is such an important cause to raise money for. Of course, I’m also hoping that as many of you as possible will choose to come instead to my 9.45 am class in Sellindge immediately before the coffee morning itself and do both! Please let me know as soon as possible, and if possible book in.

Pilates Social Walk, Sunday 13th October

Our next Pilates Social Walk will be held on Sunday 13th October, starting to 10.00 am. Route and starting point will be confirmed soon. Please pop the date in your diaries!

Advanced Pilates Masterclass, Saturday 23rd November

Exciting news! I shall be running an Advanced Pilates Masterclass on Saturday 23rd November, 9.00 – 10.30 am, at Hythe Cricket Club. This will be a longer and more challenging class for those who are already attending Pilates classes regularly and have an established level of fitness (contact me to discuss if you are not sure). During the masterclass I shall go into more technical detail about the exercises covered, and the way in which they work. Cost of the masterclass is £18. https://www.janem.co.uk/pilates/advanced-pilates-masterclass-in-hythe/

If you are interested, please let me know. Those who have expressed an interest will be offered places first when booking opens. Please note that this masterclass is limited to 14 participants only.

So… a busy autumn ahead for us! I look forward to seeing you in class very soon.

Kind Regards

Jane Mackenzie
